Service Description

Pinda Swedana is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves a specialized form of massage using warm herbal poultices. The term "pinda" refers to the bolus or pouch, and "swedana" means sweating or fomentation. In this therapeutic treatment, a mixture of Ayurvedic herbs and other beneficial ingredients is wrapped in cloth to form poultices, which are then heated and used to massage the body. Pinda Swedana is known for its ability to balance the doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), alleviate muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being. The choice of herbs in the poultices is often tailored to an individual's constitution and specific health needs. The therapy is particularly beneficial for joint stiffness, arthritis, muscle pain, and promoting a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation, or as suggested by your Ayurvedic Practitioner.

Cancellation Policy

Your health and the health of all of our clients matters to us. To ensure that all of our clients are treated fairly and are able to receive treatment in a timely manner, we ask that you provide at least 24-hours notice if you need to change, reschedule or cancel your appointment. If you change or reschedule your appointment without providing us with 24-hours advance notice or fail to keep your appointment (if you are a no-show) you will be charged a fee of $50. To change or cancel an existing appointment, please call or text 720-250-6669 or reschedule your appointment online. Thank you for your consideration and understanding. INCLEMENT WEATHER Our standard policy is that appointments canceled with less than 24-hours notice incur a cancellation fee. During the winter months, we are willing to make an exception to that rule. If the area is under a severe winter weather advisory and you believe that it would be unsafe or impossible for you to travel to your appointment, you may reschedule within the 24-hour window at no charge. Additionally, if the cancellation is due to illness or emergency, we may make an exception.
